  Come join your fellow AMSCH members on a train ride on the Historic Hawaii Railway located in Ewa Beach. Start the day with a picnic lunch under the trees (BYO lunch), and then tour the toy train museum, and also the train restoration shop before boarding our train for a 2 hour ride along the coast from Ewa Beach out to Kahi Point and back.

  AMSCH Members get a discounted ticket price of $13 per person.

  Schedule:

  10:45 am - arrive at the train yard

  10:45 - 11:45 enjoy lunch, tour the toy train museum, visit the gift shop, tour the train restoration facility. There are picnic tables available for our use. 

  11:45 - gather at the designated spot to board our train car

  12:00 noon - train departs

  01:45 train returns to Ewa Beach station.

  New Location!  We've moved the General Meeting to 'Mangiamo by 604'. This is an Italian cuisine restaurant located in the Navy Marine Golf Course. (map)

  Please help support Mangiamo by ordering something from the menu.  We suggest that you arrive by 6:15 to place your order before the meeting begins at 6:30. The restaurant closes at 8:00 pm, so we have to finish paying our bills and be out of the restaurant by then. It will also help if you bring cash just in case we do not get separate checks. 

  Free parking is available in front and side of the building in a very well-lit parking lot.

• Cruise with the T-Birds

  Save the date of Sunday, August 3rd for a cruise with the T-Birds. While the old 'Birds of Paradise' club does not seem to exist any longer, there are still some T-Bird enthusiasts on Oahu. We've been in contact with one of them who has in turn contacted others, so we hopefully will have four T-Birds for this cruise.

  Right now, we do not have details on meeting place, route, etc., so just save the date on your calendar.
